There aren't many fun places in Merced to have lunch, but we enjoy sitting at a table outside...we've always enjoyed great service & the food has always been great...including gluten free items!

Excellent food. Love the sliders and the pizza. Waitress was great. We got in before the crowd as that's always a bonus.

Found a real gem n my travels home. Delicious Italian food, full bar, helpful friendly staff. And most importantly gave my dog water! Thank you Alina

Coconut shrimp, scampi, chicken Parmesan and children's pizza all delicious. Greeted with a lovely smile by the host. Our server Javi was attentive and on his game. Great service. We sat upstairs and it was on a very hot day but it was comfortable. Both our server and host asked if we were cool enough. We actually parked and were going to try the other Italian restaurant down the road but the body language and tone of the bartender and host were as if we were a nuisance so we walked out and walked 800 feet down the street and glad we did. Will always choose Destino's when in Merced.

We were here this weekend with my sister and BIL and I forgot to post. We had a wonderful meal and great service. The lasagna was so good in a zesty red sauce and lots of gooey cheese layers. My sister got salmon, which I tasted as well, and was pleased with the flavor, fresh steamed broccoli, and nothing was over cooked. The guys had some of the staples made in a new way. I didn't know you could ask for a wedge salad tossed or au jus for the Destinos special, but the staff was extremely accommodating and made that happen. It was a great evening out!

We recently had lunch here and they definitely serve big portions. We saw really great reviews so we decided to come here. As soon as we walked in, you can tell right away that the service was gonna be great. We were greeted with friendly faces and happy servers. Once we were seated I noticed several tables and seating upstairs too. We sat downstairs but the servers were really on point with waiting on all the tables up and down stairs. The place is really cute. It's warm and welcoming. If you're in the area and looking for a nice place for lunch or dinner then you should check this Italian restaurant out. Prices are not too bad and we had plenty of leftovers left. The only thing is the parking. I'm not sure if it gets busy during this time, but we could not find a place to park, so we had to drive around for a bit.

Came here on a Wednesday evening for a work dinner/party and had a blast! Making a reservation for a party of 12, at 3PM, on a random Wednesday in Merced sounds like it'd be easy, and it wasn't- Destino's was one of the only locations open from 3-5PM and available for reservations- but I am so glad we chose this spot. Staff were attentive, patient, and helpful to all 12 of us having dinner. One thing to note is they only allow a tab to be split maximum of 3 weeks on parties larger than 8 (we made it work- but this could be complicated for large parties depending on occasion). All of our drinks, alcoholic and non alcoholic were delicious, appetizers came out quickly and were also super yummy, all of our food was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Every person loved their meal, and we were extremely full when leaving the venue (appetizers are all very good shareable servings)! I highly recommend this place for large dinner parties and will definitely be returning for a date night. 9.5/10!

My boyfriend and I love coming here for our date night whenever we can. He always gets the margarita pizza, which is absolutely delicious, it always comes out hot and always has such great flavor. I also really appreciate that the crust is cooked through and crunchy, but not overcooked or burnt. I always get the Shrimp Scampi Linguine. It is absolutely delicious, if that was my last meal then I'd be happy to have eaten that. The flavor is so wonderful, the noodles are cooked perfectly every single time. I love that it comes with a piece of garlic bread and that is delicious as well, it has great seasonings and matches perfectly with the pasta spices and flavors in the pasta. The first time I got the pasta, the waiter mentioned he added the alfredo sauce in it, and I refuse to get the pasta without that alfredo sauce in it. One of my all-time favorite dishes here. Appetizers we've had: Bruschetta, Beer Battered Cheese Bites, Fried Cheese Ravioli. The Bruschetta is delicious, the bread is crunchy and the tomato toppings have great flavor just from themselves, and it's the perfect amount of balsamic vinegarette that doesn't empower anything but simply adds to the flavor of it all. The Beer Battered Cheese Bites are wonderful! The crunch of them is perfect, and the side of marinara sauce it comes with has such great flavor with the seasonings in it. My boyfriend could die for the Fried Cheese Ravioli. Absolutely delicious! Every time we've been here, the wait staff have been so wonderful with making sure that we're taken care of. One thing that matters most to me when eating at a restaurant, is how well the waiter/waitress can take care of making sure our drinks don't stay empty for too long and we've never had this problem here. The food has always been hot when it is served, and we love coming here. Can't wait for our next date night!
